* IGNORE the player roles for anyone in the Top 30. It is not accurate at all. It is only accurate for the prospects not listed below. Scouting reports for the Top 30 players are below and that is all you need to use.
* This is sorted by Overall and therefore you should not put too much stock into the rankings. This is merely a list of all the players and should be used when making picks in Round 2.
----------------------------------------------
Unranked as of right now
RW/LW Nail Yakupov - This guy is the consensus number 1 pick. With a good shot and elite hands, with Bure upside and Radulov downside.
5'11 170 Pounds - Russia
NHL Comparision: Alex Semin
SH60 PA46 ST64 CH39 PO40 HI50 SK60 EN56 PE59 FA57
LE52 ST54
------------------
RW/LW Claude Snipré (Created) - He is fast as lightning with an unreal shot (compared to Ovechkin) and amazing hands. His passing game is yet to develop and is a liability defensively(could develop with good coaching). He is a risky pick but one with immense upside.
5'7 155 pounds - France
NHL Comparision: Pavel Bure
SH73 PA33 ST65 CH22 PO22 HI37 SK71 EN41 PE85 FA33
LE42 ST32
--------------------
RW/LW Parjeet Lilja(Created) - Maybe the safest pick in the draft. This guy is an all around forward that gives it his all every shift. There is literally no weakness in his game. He is a shoot first player that can pull off highlight reel dangles. He is an average passer and plays a sound defensive game with his great fore-checking ability. Not afraid to lay down the body also. Is a good skater for his size and possibly a future captain. His only knock is his upside isn't as high as the other players in the top 10 and could easily end up as a 3rd liner. But he's the type of player that can play any role.
6'2 205 Pounds - Canada
NHL Comparision: Ryan Kesler
SH54 PA51 ST57 CH58 PO46 HI56 SK60 EN63 PE55 FA52
LE60 ST 63
----------------------
C/LW Mikhail Grigorenko - Another Russian that is possibly as skilled as Yakupov but has the "Russian factor." The guy is a beast with his size and has amazing hands and a good all around game. Somewhat of a risky pick but one that can pay huge dividends.
6'3 192 Pounds - Russia
NHL Comparision: Better Skating Nik Antropov
SH54 PA52 ST63 CH43 PO44 HI47 SK59 EN56 PE60 FA65
LE52 ST54
--------------------
D Andrew Watson(Created) - Considered to be one of the best defenseman in the draft, the smooth skating Watson has an excellent first pass, is responsible in his own zone, and is a quiet leader with a all-out mentality. He has great stickhandling, but his shot needs some work and he isn't very physical. He is considered a safe pick and could easily be considered the top prospect by draft day.
6'2 185 pounds - Canada
NHL Comparision: Jay Bouwmeester
SH48 PA58 ST60 CH57 PO57 HI45 SK67 EN68 PE77 FO49
LE58 ST 60
------------------
D Binny Dunji(created) - This guy has a LOT of work to do on his offensive game. He is a disaster waiting to happen with the puck and constantly turns the puck over. BUT, his defensive game is something else. He is a monster in his own zone. He is a decent skater and has shutdown the very best forwards in his league. He is a fearless shot blocker with excellent positioning. And he is a physical player that loves battling in the corners. A VERY risky pick, especially if his defensive game doesn't translate to the NHL. Upside of a elite shutdown dman and downside of a bottom pairing stay at home dman.
6'2 165 Pounds - Canada
NHL Comparision: Jay McKee
SH19 PA37 ST10 CH65 PO65 HI67 SK52 EN66 PE40 FA25
LE57 ST60
---------------------
D Ryan Murray - He is the consensus best dman in the draft. A very good two-way defenseman with great puck moving ability. Little risk and high reward. Upside of Niedermayer and downside of Kaberle.
6'0 190 Pounds - Canada
NHL Comparision: Scott Niedermayer
SH 47 PA 58 ST 52 CH 57 PO 57 HI 63 SK 67 EN 63 PE 70 FA 26
LE 60 ST 59
----------------------
D Nick Ebert - Another great two-way defensman with a great shot. He is very close to Ryan Murray in terms of skill with a similar two way package.
6'1 193 Pounds - USA
NHL Comparison: Jack Johnson
SH 57 PA54 ST53 CH55 PO55 HI63 SK59 EN63 PE65 FA29
LE55 ST58
----------------------
RW/LW Chi Tuzzi(Created) - A rare mix of half asian/half white, his skillset is also very unique. The guy is a very physical power forward with all around offensive skills, although more of a shooter. Has an underrated pass and good hands. He is decent defensively and isn't afraid to lay the body and get dirty in corners. Also can mix it up and get into fights. The thing scouts are afraid of are his below average skating and bad penalty habits. This guy has a great frame and awesome skills though so If he can get by those 2 things he will be a elite power forward someday in the DHL. He is a bit raw and needs a bit of development time like most power forwards. Upside of Bertuzzi in his prime, and downside of a goon with good hands.
6'2 205 Pounds - Canada
NHL Comparison: Todd Bertuzzi
SH 54 PA48 ST50 CH44 PO44 HI63 SK46 EN58 PE37 FA27
LE58 ST67
---------------------------------
C/LW Alex Galchenyuk - Another Canadian product, the 6'2 star is a young goal scorer that is responsible in his own end. Has a good frame, good hockey sense, and is a very well rounded player with no weakness to his game. While he doesn't possess the top end skill of the other draftees, he is a very safe pick to become Center on a 1st or 2nd line in the future.
6'2 185 Pounds - Canada
NHL Comparison: Marian Hossa
SH50 PA52 ST55 CH49 PO49 HI47 SK64 EN63 PE63 FA69
LE57 ST60
----------------------------------
LW Nabby Jamal(created) - All you Hit&Grind lovers look no further. A player that specializes in a few areas, but also has a few glaring weaknesses that need to be worked on. An average skater, Nabby possesses a lethal shot that some say is 2nd to Snipre in the draft. However his passing is below average and he is always looking to shoot, a bit selfish with the puck. Has decent hands, and needs a lot of work with his defensive positioning. Is good on the fore check and uses his size effectively in the corners to win puck battles. Is a very physical player that backs down to no-one, a future captain that sticks up for his teammates. Is a little penalty prone also. Upside of Iginla, downside of Raffi Torres.
6'2 195 Pounds - Canada
NHL Comparison: Jarome Iginla
SH65 PA37 ST50 CH46 PO40 HI65 SK57 EN52 PE50 FA45
LE63 ST67
---------------------------------
D Griffin Reinhart - A towering presence at 6'4, Griffin is solid defensively with some offensive upside. In a stacked D draft he may not go as high as he could have in other drafts.
6'3 200 Pounds - Canada
NHL Comparison: Chris Phillips
SH45 PA46 ST42 CH57 PO57 HI54 SK55 EN56 PE67 FA23
LE53 ST57
---------------------------------
G Ayesh Marshall-Baker(created) - The top ranked goalie in the draft, Ayesh is a hybrid goaltender with good positioning and the ability to steal a game. His lateral movement needs work, but he is a safe pick that will be a starter for the team that drafts him, and has the ability and consistency to take a team to the cup.
6'1 200 Pounds - Canada
NHL Comparison: Dwayne Roloson
GL50 BL53 ST52 PA49 BL55 AG56 SK55 EN63 PE64 RE57
LE57 ST59
--------------------------------
D Mike Labbé(created) - Another defenseman in a stacked D class, Mike is a Montreal native and 6'6 monster on D. He does possess a very hard shot but it is not accurate at this point in his career. His passing and stickhandling need a lot of work. He is solid defensively and probably the most physical Dman in the draft, ahead of Dunji. Is still a bit raw but has tons of upside with his frame. Needs a bit of work on his skating.
6'6 230 Pounds - Canada
NHL Comparison: Tyler Myers
SH50 PA35 ST33 CH58 PO58 HI63 SK55 EN58 PE50 FA28
LE59 ST68
----------------------------
C Hafeez Dossa(created) - A pure center with amazing hands, an average shot and Crosby like playmaking skills, the 5'7 Center is one of the most talented players in the draft, but has too many glaring holes that need to be worked in. Has a very twig like body frame, he has a very dangerous stick which he uses to create turnovers but loses most puck battles due to his size. Is a great skater and never gets himself in penalty trouble. Could end up being a premier playmaker in the NHL or a player that finds himself stuck in the AHL due to his size.
5'7 140 Pounds - Canada
NHL Comparison: Martin St.Louis/Nathan Gerbe
