Ej Hradek Here.
Many rumors have been circulating around the web that Colorado Avalanche is allegedly looking for a star offensive player. Someone with the abilities of Matt Duchene, to make the top line of the Avalanche even better, along with the 2nd.
In my opinion, this would be a good move for the Avalanche, depending on how much they give up. The Avalanche future is already looking bright, and full of players, but they still own several picks in the 2013 draft. Including the CBJ 1st and 2nd round pick. Those players that are drafted, shouldn't have a place on the roster because it's already plump all the way down.
The deal would possibly look something like this.

Danny Ehrdhart RW 18 100000 0 16 31 27 27 58 58 54 59 64 61 36 54 50 28 56 55

The Avalanche could also include Tyler Biggs, because his spot would be taken by Gabriel Landeskog.
Moving these players would open up a prime opportunity for a great firepower line. Allowing the Avalanche to put Duchene, Grigorenko, and this newly acquired player all onto one line would be absolutely golden. With this new player taking up a spot on the first line, Gabriel Landeskog would move down to the 2nd line. Making it Landeskog, Marchand, and Smyth. And then Biggs would no longer have a spot o the 2nd line. This trade would make the Avalanche more sound into the roots of the Franchise.
Visual of the Avalanche future line-up after this trade.
Line 1: Newly Acquired forward - Matt Duchene - Mikhail Grigorenko
Line 2: Gabriel Landeskog - Brad Marchand - Reggie Smyth
Line 3: Antti Miettinen - Ryan O'Reilly - Michael Ryder
Line 4: Ryan Smyth - Matia Marcantuoni - Evzen Albrecht
Ej Hradek out.
