Firing of GM Diglet [/img]On December 2nd, the Boston Organization announced that they had fired their General Manager, Diglet. Coming off a Cup winning season, Diglet made several questionable moves. Leading the Bruins to finish 11th in the league. He moved several players for picks in the 2012 draft. We’ll be going over some of the trades he made in his DHL career. In his first major trade, he moved Tyler Seguin for a couple of small pieces, and Jason Pominville. Following that trade, he moved the 2011 Cup MVP for a couple of picks and pieces. The only good really good compensation that Boston received back in that deal was Kris Versteeg. He also went on to move Brad Marchand for Sean Couturier, and David Krejci in a trade for Hartnell. Arguably, he lost every single one of his trades. After the flurry of taking apart the Bruins, Diglet waited. Hardly making any trades, or even expressing much interest. As the Draft turned the corner, he made even more mistakes taking Chi Tuzzi instead of Alex Galchenyuk. After diving head first into an early rebuild, Diglet ruined it all for his fans by failing to capitalize with several draft picks. Hallway through the season, the Bruins continued to not perform. The Boston Bruins we're left one option, and they took it. Firing their 1 ½ year long General Manager, Diglet. The Boston Bruins are now looking for a new head GM, and the position is open in the DHL.
