In the playoffs over the past two years he's posted 29 points in 26 games, over a point per game ratio, with 16 of those being goals. Last season he was injured and didn't even play in 70 games, which resulted in low numbers. But he's a proven scorer with 39 goals with Calgary three years ago, and remarkable playoff numbers. done

After that he's been a stud and I think he deserves a little more than a 77, maybe 78-79 done

In 40 games with San Jose (playoffs included) he has put up 19 points playing 2nd PP. He's a bit soft but he still has a strong shot and is an excellent passer. Maybe push puckhandling and passing up a bit? done

He's 20. I don't care, he doesnt develop. Never.
I'd like a re-rate on either his potential (bump it up to make it reasonable), or make him good. He's proved to be a very good player.
He should be like 67 OA, just a little over Tedenby.. or 66, since he's 1 year younger.

The guy is one of the best Dman in the league... Like to see his passing shooting checking and positioning Looked at also his discipline as he never takes penalties thansk

He's a top hitter and fighter, ready to replace Koci next year in the Avalanche. He has a great forecheck that causes a lot of turnovers due to intimidation and hits. He actually has pretty good hands, both stick handling and fighting. Because of his size he did well fighting the guys in this league. I didnt keep up with him much during his time in the AHL though so I dont know how much he's improved.

Had 21 points in 22 games last season, looked absolutely great on the line with Matt Duchene. I think deserves a bit better than 78 OF. i.e. Kristian Huselius has 77 OA, but only got 20 points in 40 games last season.

this guys checking, positioning, and defense stats should be raised, hes on the first PK and is relied on heavily late in close games. ALSO playing on the top line of a stanley cup finals team, and a 30 goal regular season (when he plays 82) his offense and shooting should be raised a bit. (game 7 OT goal agianst hawks)

His SH is fair, but his hands are really underrated, as they should be about 84. Not all of his goals are snipes. Carter is also better defensively. His CH and PO should both be better. Probably about 76 each. He is a sound penalty killer, and should be rated as such. He's also probably a top 10 fastest player in the league at top speed, so SK could be raised, but now I'm just nit picking

sorry, no re-rates on traded players Okay, Pitkanen instead: Joni Pitkänen D 28 4000000 1 35 70 80 77 75 78 70 88 78 70 47 59 72 75 74 75 His OF is ok, but over the last couple seasons in Carolina, he's stood out as a #1 guy. He doesnt get the most recognition because he plays in Carolina, but he's actually played some pretty damn solid defense for the Canes. It's hard to quantify his defensive ability, but if you ask any Canes fan, they'll tell you that the quality of Pitkanen's play in both ends has been rock solid. HI could be improved to about 73, he's not shy of physical contact. His CH and PO should both be at 80.

Over the last three years Boyle has been the 3rd most productive defenceman in terms of points in the NHL. I realize he already has high rates in offensve but a slight bump might be neccessary seeing as their are a lot of defenceman rated similarily in offence to him.
Doug Murray D 31 2500000 3 54 56 59 51 77 77 83 68 77 60 49 70 86 55 79 71
Again, I don't think a huge bump is neccessary but Murray is one of the best stay at home guys in the league. He never gets big numbers on offence but he's impossible to knock off the puck, throws around his body a ton, and if you watched the playoffs, was arguably the best Dman for SJ behind Boyle. I am just asking for a small bump in defensive attributes across the board, he plays a ton of minutes and it is certaintly not for his offence.

Over the last three years Boyle has been the 3rd most productive defenceman When you say productive, do you mean scoring in the opponents net, or his own. (2010 playoffs.)

Either bring back his potential to something like 88 or re-rate him:
He's been amazing in defense, and got like +50 in one season very recently. Should be 83+ in defense.

dear commish hornqvist is young as is going to turn out great but last year he only had 47 PIM in 79 games, can you edit is PE a nice bit please, also hornqvist is young but he showed his leadership last season,so see if you can put up his LE a bit, thanks Patric Hörnqvist RW 24 3080000 3 34 77 75 75 73 70 70 74 73 63 54 58 69 75 71 72
also Cody franson had 8G 21 assist and 29 points in 80 games with 156 shots,so maybe his OF goes up a bit and also he only had 30 PIM in 80 games last year, which is like 15 penaltys in 80 games,so thats is adveraging around 1 penalty in every 5+ games, ,so i think his PE should go up a bit,it is 73 but maybe a 75-76-77,thanks

He's been a 60+ point player the last few years. Other guys with similar point totals are Jussi Jokinen (78 OF), David Backes (79 OF), Martin Erat (78 OF).
He should have 80 SH and 77 ST for 78 OF.

In 2008, Kaberle won the most accurate shot in the NHL all star game over players rated with much better shots in this game such as Lidstrom, Staal, Alfredsson, Hossa and Arnott in the finals. He doesnt shoot much, as he's always been a passer, but when he does he has an amazingly accurate shot.
