If you feel a player should be re-rated, post here with his full stats. Again, I have gone through almost every player in the file. I may have missed some or you may disagree which is fine. Just post your reasoning on why he should be re-rated. If a player is Under 26 he will improve. For example, Stamkos is 83OF but hes only 21. He will get better. I know how good he is If you find someone over 26 that should be re-rated that is a different story. There may be players that are closer to NHL ready than they currently are which is another good reason for a re-rate. 2 re-rates per team

In the playoffs this season, definitely Detroit's most standout defenceman. I think his LE and ST could be a bit better.
Dan Cleary RW 32 2800000 3 51 79 74 72 74 72 75 77 78 68 61 68 74 75 73 74

Bobby Butler RW 24 135000 2 32 64 66 63 55 56 51 68 67 78 39 52 61 64 54 64
He had a breakout season and came right from the college hockey league and produced alot for the amount of games he played. Some players have one breakout season and are automatically are good but other seasons they suck. He i know will be good cuz he is 24 and should have better stats to start with

+/- for his career has been positive 5 out of 8 seasons, not to mention in 2 of those seasons he was dealt mid season and still kept his +/- a positive depsite having to adapt to a new system. His +/- is also similar to Dan Cleary's and Upshall has played a defensive role on teams that were much less talented than the Red Wings. I believe his CH/PO should be a bit better.

He had 34 goals this year, which is as much as some premier snipers like jeff carter, patrick sharp, and more than alexander ovechkin which of those all have a much higher shot than briere does. I think brieres shot should be bumped up to about 84-86.

We think his offence should be better, and his defence should be much better, as he is a two way forward. Has the potential to be a great Defenseman IMO. He jumped right into position when the Avalanche called, and was one of the best defenseman as far as defensive stats on the team. Jonas Holøs has great potential, and he's not going to get anywhere with these kind of stats. -2 on the worst defensive team in the league? With the worst goaltenders? He was even able to mantain positive up until late in the season.

Had a break out year this season; and in the past has always had a save % over .910. Believe his ratings should be closer to a guy like Luongo. Their career save % is only 1 off (Rinne is higher). Pekka has played less games obviously but he is 28 and won't develop anymore naturally.

Could use a bit of an offensive boost. Also in leadership. In the playoffs over the past two years he's posted 29 points in 26 games, over a point per game ratio, with 16 of those being goals. Last season he was injured and didn't even play in 70 games, which resulted in low numbers. But he's a proven scorer with 39 goals with Calgary three years ago, and remarkable playoff numbers.

This is the only player I see any really obvious need for a rerate... he's always been more of an offensive guy that a defensive guy. In 40 games with San Jose (playoffs included) he has put up 19 points playing 2nd PP. He's a bit soft but he still has a strong shot and is an excellent passer. Maybe push puckhandling and passing up a bit?
