No... sorry but not accepted. Please reconsider your application. I need more than "winning" for your short terms plans. and get good players as you long term plan.

Seeing as how this is your first league, I think it might be better if you started as an assistant GM before you received a job as head GM. I'll speak with the commish when he gets back from work.

Colton, you application isn't fantastic, but we would probably accept it. We were looking to something closer to a paragraph for each query. Another problem is that this is your first league, and we don't want to see you making terrible trades. As I said, I'll talk to the commish and see what he thinks, continue on as you were for now.

Everyone starts somewhere, and now how do you think he feels? I bet he just made any application thinking we'd be nice and let him join his first league and start his sim league GM career. You know, if he's bad, we fire him... If not, we let him be.

As I said, I'll see what the commish says.

Since this is your first league, I think you should start as an Assistant GM. (Trading your whole roster before I officially accepted you didn't help either) Maybe Habs can teach you the ropes for a week or so and you can take the next team available.

(Trading your whole roster before I officially accepted you didn't help either) Maybe Habs can teach you the ropes for a week or so and you can take the next team available. I remember my first sim league haha. I remember I traded Tuukka Rask for Al Montoya and watched as Rask became one of the best goalies int he league and Montoya didn't even break my roster. What I'm trying to say is, I learned from that. And maybe that's what we need to do here. I'm not saying go out and trade your entire team, but since it's his first league, let him make his mistakes and learn from them. I mean, EHM is a complicated program for someone who's just getting into it, and they're gonna make mistakes. But if you keep being told not to do something, it gets discouraging after a while. What I mean is, maybe we can guide him to make sure he doesn't make super bad trades. But in the end, if it's what he wants to do for his team then should we really stop him? There have been much worse deals in sim leagues before and even in real life, and you can't learn from your mistakes if you're never allowed to make them.
