The Nashville predators have started out the 2012-2013 season rather poorly, they finished 7th in the western conference last year and so far this year is in the bottom of the NHL. "Our goaltending has not done well and our top starts aren't performing at best and its hard to win when thats happening" said head coach Barry Trotz. The preds are looking to bounce back after acquiring forward Devin Setoguchi, "he isn't having a good season so far but he should perform better here in Nashville" said general manager David Poile. The preds are really hoping for their Pk to get better, last year the teams Pk was around 88 percent and this year its 77 percent which is the number one reason why this team is doing bad. "The pk needs to step up for us to start winning" said Nashville Captain Pavel Datsyuk. "I had a long talk with this team after the game against the Pittsburgh Penguins" said Barry Trotz. "After Trotz talked to us we went out their and played well, he really pumped us up" said forward Jeff Skinner. The team hopes they can do well and really play better then they have, especially Corey Crawford who has done terrible and knows he needs to step up for his team to win. "The guys have played alot of games scoring 3-4 goals and we still would lose because of me, I'm just not playing at my best right now and I know I need to step up" Said goalie Corey Crawford. "Once we gets Marky back and get things straightened out we should perform better and perform to our level said Nashville forward Kris Versteeg.
