Name: Matthew Team Applying To: Boston Favorite team: Vancouver Preferred position: GM E-Mail: takingits_low@yahoo.ca Past experience in Sim leagues: I've been a contributing member of a number (around 7-10) of sim leagues, including being part of the administration team for one. GM Style/Philosophy: I lean towards players who have speed and are capable of playing a solid two way game. I typically like having 3 lines that can play solid offense and a fourth that I can rely on at both ends of the rink. Short-term plans for the team: I'd look to make a couple changes to the defense; perhaps adding a defenseman with more offensive capabilities and making the unit more mobile. Long-term plans for the team: Doing my best to keep the team competitive with the relatively good foundation they have already. I'd likely look at acquiring a young defenseman to take the place of Chara/Visnovsky. You have a team consisting of nothing but basically one aging franchise player, but the team is in first place. You get offered a great package of prospects and picks for your aging, one "franchise" player. What do you do? Don't change what's working. Drafting properly and the right UFA signings can bolster the squad, if just for a year or two. How did you find us? I know the Devils, Penguins, Sabres and Stars GMs. Read more: ehmsimleague1.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=1&action=display&thread=5#ixzz1VzqwpKcI

Vouch for Matty, he's a solid GM.
He was the guy I was talking about.
