So seeing the current circumstances, I am willing to take over the commish position. I haven't commissioned a league before so it will be kinda iffy in certain parts, but it is better than the alternative.
Worst case scenario of me taking over the league is it dies.
And if I don't it could very well be that result as well.
Opinions?

But if your up for the challenge I'm all for it.

I voted yes for the simple fact to keep the league running. Dalfan, it truly is up to you. As Braeden stated before myself and the Devils GM have ran a league. In fact, me and the devils gm were apart of a 5 person "board of governors" to run the league. It ran smooth with the help of all people. We all had our own sections and helped each other people out. If you would be interested in help let me know, more then welcome to lend a helping hand.

Dalfan, I'm all for it, but like mthomas said, I think since its your first time, you should have a team of people behind you.
And Colton, you need to realize how much work it takes for someone to run a league, you can't take it for granted that the stats, standings, roster, website are all up to date and working, and also updating the lines and functions for 30 teams. YOu should be happy that someone is even running the league.

A lot would have to change really for me to be on board with this...not trying to take a holier than thou approach to it or anything..but from day 1 Dal's done nothing but whine and complain and bitch and make sure to inject his two cents on anything, especially grammatically.
That on top of a lack of knowing player value, and it could be a bad mix. What really makes this league work as well as it does is not only how well it's been run by commish, but the core guys like HF, Army, and the rest that have been here and been active since day 1. We're losing both of those aspects that make the world turn here
and it's not meant to be any lack of respect, I'm too opinionated as well to do it myself just my personal thoughts on the whole situation.
I wish you guys luck though, easily the best most organized league I've been part of, and it was fun for sure.

As commish stated in the chatbox, I've run a league before and trust me, it's a lot of work. Inputting lines, functions, etc. for 30 teams can be a bit overwhelming at times, especially if you're trying to sim daily.
Dalfan, I know you've been a bit controversial around the boards at times but if you want to take a stab at this then I say go for it. What I'd recommend doing though is getting another couple of people that'd be willing to sim and swap days simming. Do you honestly want to spend basically a couple hours a day pointing and clicking to get lines right and upload everything? I think if you had further help that'd be beneficial to you.
I want no part of simming anymore but if you guys need help with file work such as making draftees (ehm generated classes suck) or anything, I'd be willing to help with that.

I've also run a league and like Beau said, it's not easy. But my suggestion is, sim on a schedule. Instead of daily sims, sim four times a week, simming about an ingame week at a time. That way, you get two days to get everything in and ready, as well as letpeople make their lines, functions, etc.
So for example, sim on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Or something similar to that. That's how I used to do it. Sure, it takes a bit longer to get through the year, but for a new commish it'll help.Plus, you're still simming about a month a week by these methods.

I'm willing to input line every other day or something like that. I'd need a quick bit of help to figure out how exactly (haven't opened up EHM many times).. but yeah I've got tons of free time (probably the most on this board ) so that wouldn't be a problem.
