Start with how important the player is to your team: Importance: 5: This could make me a cup contender. 4: This is a core player and I need him 3: This is a role player and I would like him. 2: Whatever 1: Minor Leaguer
Here is how to set up a PM:
The Title:
(i5) Stamkos, Steven
Inside the PM, the first line should be the players full stats.
Name Position, Age, Salary, Attributes Years:number of years Salary:Anuall Pay Clauses:NTC,NMC,ARB
After that you plead your case....and make it good. The more professional it is and the better you state your case, the higher the chance the player will sign with you.
A properly sent contract offer will be formatted like this:
(i4) Roloson, Dwayne
Dwayne Roloson G 41 2500000 1 37 79 77 74 76 78 77 78 89 77 78 85 73 76 77 80 Years:1 Salary:$3,850,000 Clauses:none
Explanation of why Roloson should sign with Tampa Bay.
Any questions, please ask.
